Carole “C.J.” Brown, Esq., is an attorney and consultant specializing in business strategy and regulatory compliance for highly regulated industries such as cannabis, hemp, psychedelics, tobacco and alcohol. With a strong background in technical writing and research, she has played a pivotal role on our clients’ applications across multiple states, including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia. At Cannacore Group, C.J. guides clients through complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance at local, state, and federal levels while addressing operational challenges with strategic solutions.

C.J. is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, who received a concentration in Health Law. She was a Senior Associate of Nova Law Review, President of NSU Chapter of Florida Association for Women Lawyers (“FAWL”), and received a Cali Award for her Bioethics thesis paper on re-scheduling psilocybin. C.J was a Faculty Scholar recipient, as well as a Dean’s List recipient. During her law school tenure, she worked as a judicial intern for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida and as a law clerk for The Law Office of Kenneth D. Cooper in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Psychology from Florida State University.
